⚠️ In rare cases, the first broker sync after updating can reset a holding's average cost to zero, including costs you entered manually. This can affect holdings with three or more decimal places when the broker supplies no average cost. Later syncs will not restore the previous cost.
Wealthfolio 3.12.0 adds seven themes, adjustable text sizes, gain and loss colour choices, a rebalancing worksheet, fund conversions, and additional market data providers.
This release improves spending and savings goals, CSV imports, and performance calculations, and fixes duplicate trade imports and cash-back income reporting.
Update all synced devices before using the new gain colours, fund conversions, or shared savings and retirement accounts. If a device received a fund conversion on 3.11, update it and choose Recalculate History for that account.
AI agents using categorization tools now need View spending and, to make changes, Organize spending permissions. Activities — commit/write now also permits deleting and voiding activities. Review your token permissions in Settings → AI agent access.
Savings goals may show different monthly amounts or status because expected returns now use a yearly rate, and goals without a saved plan assume 5% instead of 7%.
If you used external credits, custom Other holdings, same-account currency conversions, or currency codes such as USDT on 3.10.0, run Settings → Market Data → History → Refresh full history once to correct past values.
Upgrading from before 3.10.0 also introduces the new calculation engine: first launch creates a backup and recalculates history, which may change derived cost basis, realized gains, and past values.
